counterproductive antivirus
May 2008: tried out the 8.0 version of the free AVG antivirus & had nothing but trouble, the computer freezing up constantly, or just plain crashing—-on lucky occasions only being slow & having problems with going online, &c. It was a pain in the butt to install too. July: giving it another try on a new pc after using ClamWin awhile. The same bloody problems, thanks a lot.
